Europorte is the leading private operator and a key player in rail freight transport in France.

Europorte offers reliable, efficient, tailor-made and environmentally friendly freight transport solutions to Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Thanks to its expertise and modern fleet, Europorte supports its customers at every stage of the logistics chain:

  • collection and transport of goods with Europorte France,
  • loading and unloading of wagons at industrial sites with Socorail,
  • hauling of freight trains through the Channel Tunnel with Europorte Channel,
  • maintenance of wagons and management of railway infrastructure with Europorte Services.

Every year, Europorte transports millions of tonnes of goods, while continuously innovating to meet its economic and environmental commitments.

Since 2021, Europorte has been rolling out an innovative solution to decarbonise its rail freight activities by integrating Oleo 100, a biofuel produced from 100% French rapeseed, as a substitute for the non-road diesel (GNR) used in its locomotives. This alternative enables a reduction of around 60% in greenhouse gas emissions over the entire life cycle of Oleo 100 production.
